Sarracenia leucophylla x orephila
A lovely simple hybrid with obvious Lucali genetics. Pitchers and lids are lacey white with a beautiful frilled shape, marked by heavy deep red venation and a very deep red throat. Pitchers are graceful, with a flared taper from base to mouth.

Sarracenias (native North American Pitcher Plants) are amazing carnivores, luring and capturing hundreds of insects over the course of their long growing season. Grow these beauties in full, bright sun with their feet constantly wet (we grow them submurged within 1-1/2 inches of the top of the pot, always in rainwater or distilled water, never tap!) Grown outdoors in suitable weather, they'll capture plenty of wasps, flies, and other insects to supplement their nutritional needs, so never fertilize them, and they'll be super-happy, coming back bigger and better season after season!
Larger Sarracenias are shipped bare-root, carefully packaged, unless otherwise requested. This greatly reduced shipping cost, and plants tend to travel better and adapt, just as quickly when shipped this way.
