Rare and high desirable, A. villenaorum has long been prized by collectors for the velvety appearance of its thick, deep green foliage, highlighted by silvery veins.  This rare beauty hails from the cloud forests of Peru, yet is easy to grow in average Aroid conditions.  It does prefer some additional humidity, so we recommend a pebble tray or a terrarium for best growth.  Provide A. villenaorum bright, indirect light and a potting mix like ST Aroid Mix that allows water to drain and air to circulate around the root system.  Mature leaves reach up to 14 inches in length, making a truly impressive display!
