Drosera binata, the Fork-Leaved Sundew, is a large Sundew, native to the coastal areas of southeastern Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand.  It forms large clumps or thickets of intertwined plants, each with many tall, multi-forked leaves, bearing secretory glands that produce drops of mucilage which attract and capture flying and crawling insects, which the plant then dissolves with excreted digestive enzymes and reabsorbs in order to supplement its nutrition.  D. binata dichotoma 'Giant' is an especially nice and prolific variety, much prized by carnivorous plant collectors.  These plants are well-started and should do well in warm, slightly humid conditions with bright light to full sun.  Please note:  Some damage to the leaves is almost inevitable when shipping larger Sundews, but the plant will soon grow new foliage to replace any lost, if any dead leaves are trimmed away and the plant maintained with the above conditions.
