Nepenthes x 'ventrata' LARGE
'Ventrata' is one of the older and best-known Nepenthes hybrids, a great choice for beginners. It is hardy and forgiving as Nepenthes go. These LARGE SIZED plants are in their basal phase, with some beginning to vine. They come in 6” hanging baskets, growing in our standard Nepenthes mix. Provide these with bright indirect light (never direct sun), even moisture (never allow them to fully dry out, but avoid soggy soil), and some humidity (a clean spray bottle of water or a humidity tray is plenty), and they'll grow beautifully and produce dozens of huge, amazing pitcher traps, catching lots of insects if hung outdoors under a covered porch or tree in warm weather!

Please note that all plants are carefully packaged and shipped in excellent condition from our nursery. Please inspect your package on arrival for an indication of damage. If the package has external or internal damage, take photos that clearly show the damage, including the condition of the plant(s). You will then need to contact the carrier (usually USPS) to file a claim. Any damage is the responsibility of the delivery carrier. We provide detailed care instructions with every order and are available by phone, email, and messenger to answer any questions that arise. Because we have no control over the care received once plants are in the customer's hands, we are unable to take responsiblity for their survival, but we have every reason to expect that following our care advice will result in success!

Every effort is made to ensure that your plants leave our nursery well packed and ready for their voyage to your home. Because we have no control over conditions once plants leave our location, all claims for damage should be addressed to the delivery carrier. We aren't able to accept returns on live plants and supplies, but will happily do all we can to ensure you're happy with your order.

Most items ship by USPS Express Mail. In some cases, we may use another carrier in order to save you money on the shipping cost or to get the order to your quicker.
